The Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto Department of Medicine and The University Health Network (UHN), Canada's largest research hospital are seeking a Physician-in-Chief for leadership of clinical care delivery, research and education at UHN, comprising the Toronto General, Toronto Western, and Princess Margaret Hospitals.
We are searching for a successful academic physician who will build on the accomplishments of this Department, made up of more than 200 full-time physicians in twelve divisions. We are looking for a strong leader with a clear vision, as well as the ability to develop consensus through alignment of interests. The Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology at Women's College Hospital is seeking a full-time Clinician Teacher Endocrinologist. The successful candidate should be eligible for a full-time academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The ideal candidate would be an endocrinologist with expertise in the field of women's health in endocrinology and have an interest in working in an academic ambulatory centre with a strong interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate would also be an excellent teacher. Depending on the interest and expertise of the candidate, there is the opportunity for involvement in general internal medicine, educational development, and quality projects.
