Assistant Professor of Health Management

The University of Saskatchewan School of Public Health invites applications for a faculty position in health management. Candidates with research interests and expertise in health care management and program planning and evaluation are especially encouraged to apply.
Qualifications include a doctorate in health management or policy, and an MHA or MBA with a specialization in health care management. Also required are demonstrated potential as an outstanding researcher, superior oral and written communication skills, and evidence of a commitment to teaching as well as collaborative research. Besides developing an independent research program, the successful applicant will be responsible for teaching core graduate courses in health care program planning and evaluation, health care management and health policy.
Established as one of the University of Saskatchewan's priority interdisciplinary initiatives, the School of Public Health brings together new and existing resources to advance teaching, research and community outreach related to public health. The school offers graduate programs in public health, vaccinology and immunotherapeutics, biostatistics, and epidemiology, and will be developing graduate programs in health administration, and policy and leadership. The successful candidate will be expected to significantly contribute to the design of the health administration and policy and leadership programs and the subsequent proposals.
