The Department of Management Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, at the University of Waterloo invites applications for a full-time, professorial appointment in the Behavioural Sciences at any level to begin July 2010 or later. Applicants should hold a PhD, or be near completion of their doctorate, and have a background in organizational behaviour, psychology, sociology, industrial/systems engineering or a related field. We seek individuals who have demonstrated research and teaching potential in applied aspects of technology use, decision making, new product development, socio-technical systems or human-computer interaction. Ability to conduct experimental research is essential and interest in problems arising from the workplace is highly desirable. An undergraduate degree in engineering will be an asset.

Management Sciences is a dynamic and growing interdisciplinary department in the Faculty of Engineering that has active research and teaching activities in Information Systems, Operations Research and Management of Technology. The Department offers a co-op undergraduate degree in Management Engineering, as well as MMSc, MASc and PhD programs.
