Power Systems Engineering

The applicant should have solid research experience in the area of electrical energy and power systems engineering. The fields of interest include but are not limited to: smart grids, distributed generation, renewable energy, storage, motor drives for electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles. This position aims at pursuing research and teaching efforts in the area of electrical machines, renewable energy, energy storage, the conversion and processing of electrical power and power networks.
