The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dalhousie University has an opening for a specialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine. The successful candidate will possess an FRCSC or equivalent and have completed sub-specialty training in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
This position is located in the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This hospital is the only obstetrical centre for the Halifax Regional Municipality. The position falls under the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine which provides tertiary care services to the women in the province of Nova Scotia.
This is a full-time academic appointment reporting to the Division Head. Academic rank will be dependent upon qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the University teaching program, conduct independent research, assume administrative responsibility and provide clinical care.
