The Faculty of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time tenure track position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level to commence September 1, 2010 at the Vancouver Campus. Applicants must be Dental Hygienists with teaching and research experience and active participation in the Dental Hygiene profession. Applicants must have a Master's degree in Dental Hygiene or a related area; however, preference will be given to applicants with a PhD. Preference will be given to individuals who can collaborate with other researchers. Applicants require a minimum of three years of clinical or community practice experience and must be eligible for registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of British Columbia. The successful applicant will participate fully in teaching in the Dental Hygiene and the DMD undergraduate programs and be expected to develop a strong, externally funded research program, and to contribute high quality undergraduate and graduate teaching and effective supervision of graduate students.
