McGill University (McGill) and the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) are seeking a leader for the joint position of:
Chair of McGill University Department of Ophthalmology and Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology, McGill University Health Centre
The successful applicant will direct the academic activities of McGill's Department of Ophthalmology, including on-campus research. In addition to ensuring high quality clinical services at the MUHC, the successful applicant will oversee recruitment and the promotion of ophthalmological services across the McGill RUIS health network. Candidates must be medical doctors, licensed or eligible for licensure in the province of Québec, whose commitment to research is recognized internationally. They should currently hold a position of full or associate professor at a university and demonstrate proven administrative and teaching skills.
