The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency operates prevention and early detection programs, conducts innovative research and provides safe, patient and family-centred care at our two comprehensive cancer centres - the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina and the Saskatoon Cancer Centre.

We are looking for an entry-level permanent Research Scientist to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. The new Scientist will join the Cancer Research Unit, which is part of the Cancer Cluster, consisting of 3 Research Scientists and 3 University of Saskatchewan faculty members engaged primarily in basic biomedical cancer research. Expertise within the group currently includes: cell signaling, epigenetics, transcriptional regulation, tumor immunotherapy, kinase functions and DNA repair. Research Scientists are full-time researchers employed by the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency that also hold appointments in the Division of Oncology and typically have a cross-appointment to another University of Saskatchewan Department. This cross-appointment allows them to participate in graduate student training and carry out a small amount of upper level teaching. Applicants should have a PhD or an MD/PhD degree, 2-3 years of post-doctoral training and a strong publication record. Candidates in any area of Cancer Research, and those with research interest in Translational Cancer Research, are particularly encouraged to apply.
