The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at McGill University invites applications for a tenure-track academic clinician-scientist position at the Associate Professor level. Applications are invited from physician-scientists, eligible to practice in Quebec, with certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
The successful candidate is expected to develop an independent and externally supported research program in the cellular/molecular basis of ovarian cancer, to complement and foster ongoing research activities in the Division of Basic Science and to participate in the clinical and educational programs of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology.
The candidate should have a proven track record in basic or clinical research and demonstrated skills in directing and managing a research laboratory. We are especially interested in candidates with research interests related to bioinformatic approaches to the role of microenvironment and oncogenomic approaches to gynaecologic cancer. A competitive record of academic research and publication is essential.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
