Position: The Faculty of Health Sciences has an opening for a probationary (tenure-track) position in Nursing, rank open. The position will commence on July 1, 2013.
If you possess a PhD in Nursing or a related discipline, or a PhD near completion, and at least one degree in Nursing, your application is of considerable interest to us. You should have expertise in nursing practice, research and teaching and be prepared to engage in curriculum development and develop a program of research. Candidates must be eligible for registration as a nurse in good standing in the Province of Alberta.
Academic Setting: The four year BN and 23-month BN After-Degree are offered in collaboration with Lethbridge College within the Nursing Education in Southwestern Alberta (NESA) Program. Students practice in rural and urban settings including institutional and community locations. You will have an opportunity to teach in the undergraduate and graduate programs and you will also benefit from a start-up research allowance that will help you to develop your scholarly activities.
