Assistant Professor - Nephrology
The Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, Department of Medicine Division of Nephrology of the University Health Network and Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario is seeking suitably qualified applicants to join our group of 18 full time Nephrologists. The successful applicant should be eligible for a full time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. Effective date of appointment: July 1, 2013 or mutually agreeable date.
The division includes members with active clinical and research programs in many areas of kidney disease including glomerular-based diseases, hereditary kidney diseases, alternate forms of dialysis, geriatric nephrology and transplantation. The succesful candiate should have appropriate experience and track record or postgraduate training in the areas of Nephrology and medical education (usually achieved through completion of master's level training in education) with an interest in teaching through simulation. The applicant should also possess training in quality improvement (normally achieved through completion of a fellowship and/or master's degree in quality improvement). The successful applicant must hold MD and FRCPC qualifications and have, or be eligible for licensure in Ontario. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Associate / Full Professor - Gastroenterology, Division Head
The Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, Department of Medicine at Women's College Hospital is seeking an experienced academic gastroenterologist to become Division Head, Gastroenterology. This individual will lead the division in the development of a fully ambulatory program in Gastroenterology at WCH in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The successful candidate should be eligilble for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor level.
The ideal candidate will be a leader, with established skills in the areas of clinical care, administration, education and/or research, and change management. This individual will be committed to a career in academic gastroenterology as a Clinician Teacher/Educator, Clinician in Innovation & Quality, or Clinician Scientist/Investigator

Assistant Professor - Rheumatology
The Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, Department of Medicine at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is inviting applications for the position of a Clinician-teacher; Division of Rheumatology. The successful candidate should be eligible for a clinical full-time academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. Expected start date is July 1, 2013 or another mutually agreeable date.
Major responsibilities for this position will include care of patients with rheumatic diseases and teaching patients and trainees about rheumatic diseases. The candidate should have expertise in dealing with manifestations of rheumatic diseases in the peripartum period and willingness to work with colleagues in obstetrical medicine. Post-graduate training in medical education would also be an asset.
