The Mount Allison University Department of Anthropology invites applications for a full-time nine month position. The appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor and will commence August, 2013, subject to budgetary approval.

Regional and topical specializations are open. Applicants should possess a Ph.D., or be near completion, and one year of full-time teaching experience. The successful candidate will teach a four-field introduction to anthropology course each term, and either Environment and Society OR Anthropology of the Life Course at the 2000 level, in addition to three courses at the 3000 and 4000 level.
