The Alan Edwards Centre for Research on Pain (AECRP) at McGill University and its partner clinical unit, the Alan Edwards Pain Management Unit, are first-rate, cross-faculty, multidisciplinary pain research facilities affiliated with the Faculties of Dentistry, Medicine and Science at McGill University. Pain research at McGill University is a priority for which it has an exceptional record of achievement.
The Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry invite applications for a tenure-track position in the field of Pain Research. Requirements include a PhD or equivalent degree and an active independent research program in a relevant field, in addition to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate student level. We encourage scientists with a strong research background in Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, Electrophysiology and Pharmacology to apply. Responsibilities will include research, teaching and administrative work to support these activities. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience but we are expecting to make an appointment at Associate Professor level.
